I’m a newborn, cake smash & family photographer, a wife, and momma to two beautiful girls! I married my love, Samuel, in 2016, and we’ve been building a life full of big dreams and adventures ever since.

We’re a never-grow-up, Disney-loving household—you can usually find us at the happiest place on earth at least once a year! When we’re not planning our next Disney trip, we love exploring somewhere new.

Adventure is out there!

My photography journey began in 2011, capturing fresh 48 newborn photos in Bryan and College Station hospitals. Getting to photograph those first moments with a new baby sparked something in me, and soon after, Britany Danette Photography was born!

I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in business. Today, I get to put that education and my creativity to work while raising my girls and photographing families through some of their sweetest seasons.

From a sketch on paper to Down South Studios.

In 2022, after welcoming our second daughter, my husband and I purchased 4.65 acres in Hitchcock, TX. I literally drew my dream studio on a piece of paper, and together, we brought it to life!

Today, Down South Studios is where I welcome my photography clients and share the space I dreamed up with fellow photographers and creatives. So much heart went into building it, and getting to see families make memories here makes it all worth it.
